This is the kind of 33” single that has exactly the kind of length and atmosphere which is perfect for the action of putting it on and listening, then switching to the other side to make this like a listening happening, an experience. The first track is a western psychedelic raga of acoustic guitar with a drone harmonium background and a vague echoing sort of moving electronic or electro-acoustic noise with brushes of percussion and difficult to place small spots of a kind of didgeridoo-like sound, mixed with a hypnotic minimalist eastern-flavoured higher toned melody on harmonium or so. The other side continues similarly with more focus on the acoustic guitar (coming more to the fore), accompanied by amplified guitar, following in its footsteps and approach in a similar way like a piano improvisation around the picking guitar. The guitar rhythm increases in speed and now it seems it is not only an additional guitar which is added but also real piano, still following its melody of improvisation in its after-rhythms. The guitars becomes more electric and an increased number of layers of guitars and keyboards improvise simultaneously in an overlapping rhythm. The Doozer played the keyboards, synth and percussion and Wooden Spoon played the piano an electric guitar. (Both artists I have reviewed before).
