Hör Up! Remos Third Ear -mp3EP- (S,2007)****

This, for me, absolute convincing, professionally mixed, nicely fluently arranged, internet-only release and recording of three tracks, which you can hear entirely on their myspace site. It has this late ‘60s, early ‘70s feeling, great fuzzes and reverb effects, psychedelic acoustic guitars and worbing flutes, with dreamy but focused on songs vocals (on “of past times”), with harmonies that make you dazzle (on “soothing silver rain”), and also campfire-stoned percussion mixed with acoustic and fuzz guitars (on “in the garden”). This is something I’d like to hear for repeated listens. Hope to hear more from them in future ! Very promising. Labels, take them in !!

Great Pop Supplement Remos Third Ear -EP- (S,rec.2007,pub.2008)***'

Remos Third Ear was taken by the Great Pop Supplement label for a limited EP recorded late last year. The hypnotic, fastly strummed acoustic guitars with conga percussion, go-with-the hypnotic energy vocals are ‘psychedelic folk’ with no doubt, in a jammed stoned nature. The second song, with somewhat echoing guitars hangs in the same air and vibration, even when being a song, it didn’t leave the heights of hypnoses, sounds also a bit hippie-like (?) in nature. Side B is a longer than 6 minute track, improvises at first with bluesy acoustic guitars, stoned singing and within the environment with birds, then adds fuzzed sitar and percussion, speeds up and then calms down again in another psychedelic celebrative jam before the birds and environment (-distant traffic as well-) takes over once more, before a last hypnotic and drugged conclusion.
