Fit & Limo->
the psych-folk inspirations of
Temple of L.I.B.

CD (2010)

September Gurls Rec.    Temple of L.I.B. (Limo's Imaginary Band) : My Name Is Magic -LP/CD- (D,2010)****

Leaving the project Fit & Limo behind, Stefan Lienemann keeps his sort of post-Incredible String Band sort of singing, while the songs themselves stylistically have more sadness in them, an emotional sadness with a psychedelic haze of fuzz guitars and sitar, or sometimes a seemingly fuzzed voice as well. Then some wordless vocals stretch itself almost in a religious setting, an open sea, a psychedelic raga, with lots of acoustic instruments also present. Just the last, bonus track the still shiny cloud disappears for birds sounds and the happiest song. Despite being on a more solo trip, most qualities of different previous Fit & Limo albums are present here as well, with a bit more psychedelic tension in them.

Limo sings and plays acoustic and electric guitar, sitar, bouzouki, mandolin, autoharp, altoharp, electric bass, dulcimer, gopichand, gothic harp, piano, organ, harmonium, chapel organ, harpishord, synthesizer, clarinet, shenai, bamboo flute, tin whistle, kazoo, xylophone, metallophone, bongos, clay drums, toms, glockenspiel, Tibetan bowl and bell, maracas, cymbal, bells, waves, wind and forest, with Fursaxa on vocals on 4 tracks (replacing Fit’s voice), Pitl vocals (10), “psych head” Riff (Cosmic Gardeners,Madhatters Garden Band Machine), Timea Teleki on viola, violin (11).

First LP edition of 380. The CD has two extra tracks.
