This is the 3rd album by this English speaking French band. They printed some lovely hand made packages. Except for the cdr version, you can also order the album on LP. The singing is a bit like early Rivulets (the late Rivulets sounded a bit further closed up in his own mind if you ask me) or Great Lake Swimmers. The album concept is like a combination of a fairy tale and that of the storyteller himself who uses his remembrance, nostalgia and fantasy. Always starting with some simple picking or acoustic guitar with voice, the songs evolve to a more poppier arrangement with drums and arrangements like mellotron -which is used in a way that there could have been additional flute arrangements added-. “One frame a second” could as easily refer to a storybook, or some sort of combination of a comic/animated movie. They also have their own illustrator.
